Okuraya

The Kawachi Konda area is where many haniwa (hollow unglazed terracotta figures) were made in the Kofun period about 1,500 years ago.
Kofun (ancient burial mounds) are scattered around in the vicinity (e.g., the Ojin-tenno-ryo Kofun and Hakayama Kofun).
Okuraya approaches the kofun and haniwa from various angles in a land where this history and culture is alive.
Please enjoy this place where people encounter each other and where people and kofun can connect.
